District Competition will take place at Barnstable High School. Students will be excused from classes as it will be an in-school field trip. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

We will host a mock competition at Barnstable High School for our chapter’s members to get a feel for what a DECA competitive event is like. It is practice for dressing in business attire, conducting a roleplay with local judges, and networking. Prizes will be awarded to top competitors.

We invite parents to attend our Parents Meeting in order to learn more about DECA, the vast opportunities it provides, information about fundraising, competition, and meet our officers and advisors.

This meeting is perfect for members wanting to know more about anything within DECA. We will discuss matching categories, why the club is great for every type of person, how competitions work, what to expect this year, and more! If you want to know more about the club, have questions, or just spend time as a group, this meeting is perfect for you.

At this meeting, we will discuss the Calendar Raffle Fundraiser further and answer any questions. We will ensure each member knows what business they are planning to request donations from, and how to go about this. We will also explain how the fundraising works.
